Object Series

For my object series, I decided to use my iPod as my object. As you can see, it starts off with just the iPod laying down all wrapped up as if no one is going to use it. In the next picture is the iPod unwraveled. The third picture is Tina holding the iPod before putting it on as you can see in the 4th and 5th picture. Then finally, the last picture shows Tina listening to it.
The iPod was not my first choice. I originally brought in something else, but couldn't figure out what to do with it. So then I chose the iPod , I wanted to show that music is a big part of my life, because I can't go a day without listening to music. But thank you Tina for helping me!

Second Favorite Photobook Image

This is definitely my favorite picture out of all of the pictures in my photobook. I like it because of how it's the reflection of me and Tina, and I think it was very creative :)

First Favorite Photobook Image

I like this picture because it's the people who are closest to me. I also put the quote from Toy Story from the song "You've got a friend in me."

Surreal Photo Montage

When we first started to discuss this project, I immediately got this idea in my head that I wanted this to relate to my life. I had this image in my head that I wanted to show that my life was a struggle, but if I really try, I could get to the top. In this piece though, the main focus, or the biggest image of myself  is "sinking" in the sand to show that I'm struggling. Then, as you can see at the bottom, I am looking up at the sand castle planning how I can get up there, and then the images of myself climbing up represents me conquering my struggles and at the top, that's when the struggle is conquered. Honestly, I am really satisfied with how this piece came out. It came out almost exactly like the image I had in my head. The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that MS.FRIEDMAN made fun of my banner in the sky. Also, my original idea was to have hour glasses breaking open in the sky, and have them pouring out the sand rather than it looking like it's just on a beach. But then I decided to use one of my photos from the 30 day challenge of my dad holding a pocket watch to represent time. Even though it may not be the exact image that was in my head, I'm happy with this piece, and I think it came out successful.

Surrealism Idea

My idea for my surrealism project is going to relate to my life. I'm going to have 2 broken hour glasses with the sand pouring out, but the sand forming a sand castle. I want to have 3 or 4 images of myself, where one of them is going to be sinking in the sand, 1 or 2 other images of myself climbing on the sand castle to get to the top, and the last image of myself is going to be on top of the sand castle standing there accomplished. I want this to show how I start off at the bottom struggling, and then when I try I end up at the top.
